Questionnaires
Questionnaires:
These are applied to the drivers in the Manifest App to gather information.
We are using the questionnaires to gather information about from the weighbridges for the gross & net weight.
Gross Weight: Legal limit for UK road is 44 Tn.
Net Weight: Collected & Delivered quantities.
Notes:
- All questionnaires are recorded in Web Services but are not automatically linked to the TMS. To have this data come through, ManPack dev is required.
- Questionnaires will be visible to the drivers through the Manifest App only.
- Questionnaires are currently only being utilised for figures to be recorded by drivers. Future questionnaires will require assistance by ManData and an update too this solution.
Setup:
After accessing Web Services, go to the Menu and type Question in the search box at the bottom of the screen.
Then select Smart Phone Questionnaires.
In the new Window you will have the options to:-
Add – Add a new questionnaire.
Edit – Adjust an existing questionnaire.
Delete – Delete an existing questionnaire.
Copy – Use an existing questionnaire to create a new questionnaire.

Code: Unique code for this questionnaire.
Inspection Type: To appear in the Jobs we need the option Other.
Application Bundle: Select Manifest to appear in the Manifest App.
The bottom section covers the questions that are to be asked of the drivers.
Click the first + sign on the right hand side of the screen.
- This will add a group to the questions which can be renamed as required.
To add the questions, click on the second + sign.
- If amending an existing question, click on the pencil icon.
Details:
Full Label: This is the “question” that the driver will see.
Required: Is the question mandatory or not?
Additional Info: Leave as None for now.
Input Type: Select Numeric.
Set Decimal places: to 2.
This will restrict the quantity figures that the drivers can enter.
Click OK to confirm the details.
Then update the following:-
Name: Name of the questionnaire.
Code: Unique code for this questionnaire.
