Creating a Driver in ManPack / Web Services / Manifest App.

Click on the + sign to create a new record.
Details Tab:
Code: First 3 of the drivers surname & first 3 of the drivers first name.
- Daniel Kitson would be KITDAN.
- This field needs to match what you add into Web Services.
Depot: Enter the 4 character code for the drivers location.
- This field determines where the driver would be based on the traffic pad.
Contact Tab:
Update the First Name and Last Name fields with the drivers details.
- These will update the Name field.
Click on the Save button at the bottom right of the window.
Go to Convey.
Go to Reports / Resources and select the option for Drivers List by clicking Run.
- This lists all drivers that have been in our trucks.

Click on View Reports to view all active drivers.
- You don’t need to change the default setting on this report.
Enter the drivers surname in search box on the right hand side and click Find.
- This will search all of the records for the drivers name.

You will need to copy the Drivers Card information.
- All UK drivers will have a code beginning with DB. European drivers’ code tend to begin 00.
Open Web Services.
Go to the Drivers menu.
Filter on the Card ID field for Contains and enter the last 6 of the drivers card number.
- These codes are fairly unique so searching for the last 6 usually gives you what you need.

- Click on the filter button to trim the list.
Double left click on the required record update the following:
Setting Tab: This is how the driver will appear in Web Services.
Drivers Name: Enter the full name.
Department: Set to Drivers.
Employee Reference: This would be the drivers payroll number.
TMS Code: This MUST match the ManPack code or the driver will not see their work in the Manifest App.
Mobile Credentials tab: This controls access to the Manifest App.
Email Address: Match this to the email address created for the drivers phone.
Password: Click on the Change Password button and select an appropriate password from the generated option.
- Nothing to do with drinking, excessively long passwords, etc…
Click on OK to confirm the details.
Confirm the email address & password for the Manifest App on the ticket back to the Transport Manager.
