Adding Assets to Manifest App
Creating Unit & Trailers in Web Services
For a driver to select a unit or trailer in the Manifest App, the assets must be added to both ManPack & Web Services.
This solution will cover adding the asset to Web Services.
First Action:
Check if the asset is visible in the Manifest App. The driver may just need to refresh the application data.
Open the Manifest App on the test phone.
Login with the following: Username: TEST01@seras.co.uk Password: !!TestLogin
Follow the instructions at the bottom for refreshing the application.
Access Web Services with your login details.
Access the burger menu in the top left corner of the app.

Go System Setup / Fleet / Units
- Both units & trailers are entered in the same menu.
- This is due to the data being help in the same table but separated in ManPack

Type the registration into the Search box at top of the menu to confirm that asset does not already exist.

Typing the registration in will take you to the record but will not filter the list.
If the asset does exist, check that it is active and then follow the below for units & trailers to appear in the Manifest App.
If the asset does not exist, click on the Add button in the bottom left corner of the menu.

Enter the Registration & Description to mirror the setup in ManPack.

Note: The active flag is on the right-hand side at the top of this menu.
Details:
Enter the know information but most of this should be updated via the transport managers.

Fleet: Match the group in ManPack. E.g. RP E1
Trailer: If the asset is a trailer, tick this box; if it’s a unit, leave it alone.
Depot: Match the depot from ManPack. E.g. WIDN.
Configuration:
If the asset is a unit, tick the Smart phone manifests box.
This is not needed for a trailer.

Click the Save button down the bottom left of the menu.
Manifest App Update:
When replying to the ticket on the service desk, advise the user that the driver will need to refresh the application.
Actions:
Access the burger menu.
Go to Settings.
Click on the Refresh button at the bottom left of the screen.
- This will take a few seconds and may minimise the app on the phone.
- This does not log the driver out so when they reopen the application, they will go back to the Setting menu.
- Click Done.
